Job Description

Microsoft Defender:

  • Utilize Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection, threat detection, and response.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts generated by Microsoft Defender, taking appropriate actions to mitigate threats.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and best practices for Microsoft Defender to enhance the organization’s security posture.

Intune:

  • Intune autopilot
  • Patching

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage the offshore infrastructure team, ensuring effective delivery of IT services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Provide mentoring, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and career growth.

Additional Information

Key Responsibilities:

Server Management:

  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of server hardware and software.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure optimal server performance and security.
  • Monitor server performance and capacity planning to meet business needs.
  • Windows System Administrator with a background administering enterprise-level Windows domains and servers

Office 365 administration

  • Knowledge of a Windows Domain and Servers, including Forest, Trees, trusts, AD FSMO roles, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with domain controllers, Active Directory objects and OU structures, GPO mapping and administration, PowerShell, DNS, remote access.
  • Identify incidents, diagnose and resolve problems, and assist with storage usage and features.

Troubleshoot Windows servers.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating more advanced issues to the client and vendor
  • Advanced trouble- shooting skills and be able to identify issue by analyzing logs
  • Review system and application logs & scheduled jobs
  • Be available 24×7 for escalated support service
  • Should have confidence and communication skilled to handle customers
  • Create and document procedures as needed.
